You will need to download nazi_zombie_oldtown_src.zip (2.3MB) . Keep this .zip in a safe place so you can find it each time you want to start a new map.
Using WinRAR or another zip extraction program, extract the nazi_zombie_oldtown_src folder from the zip into any directory on your computer.
Next, open Text Editors . Go to Search -> Find in Files (Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+F). In the directory box, locate your nazi_zombie_oldtown_src folder. In my case, I put in root\src\nazi_zombie_oldtown_src.
In the "Find what:" box, enter:
In the "Replace with:" box, enter your new map name. In my case, I am entering:
In "Filters:" box, enter:
Here is a picture of what my Find window looks like:
Now press the 'Replace in Files' button. This will replace all instances of
the oldtown mapname with your new mapname. Once the replace finishes, it will
tell you how many instances it replaced. Press OK and minimize or close
Notepad++.
We're almost done. Now we need to manually rename any files that contain the words 'nazi_zombie_oldtown'. Here is a list of the files that need to be renamed:
Now that you have renamed every single instance of "nazi_zombie_oldtown" to your new map name, go inside your nazi_zombie_oldtown_src folder and select all the folders inside*. Copy and paste the group into your*root ' directory.
